When my clients, Katya and Stacie from Network For Good asked if I would be available to help them with a particularly exciting upcoming project, I probably said something idiodic like, “let me check my schedule” in an effort to conceal my girly squeel and Napolean Dynamite Yesssssssssssssssss! arm pump gesture.

After weeks of hush-hush, I’m incredibly excited to annouce the launch of Kevin Bacon’s SixDegrees.org charitable giving site (Katya covers it here, USA Today covers it here).

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to provide a little design sparkle here and there (though I was hardly the only designer involved in the project).  I added the final touches to the logo (the amazing concept is credited to Kevin’s daughter), worked to create the look and feel of the badges themselves (see examples here), provided some modifications to the SixDegrees.org site (though the heavy lifting was done by another firm), and a created the look and feel for the landing pages on the Network for Good site, where their infrastructure for secure online donations is “hooked” into the badges.
