Author and journalist Vanessa Craft wanted to use Expression Engine to build a website to use as a portfolio site as well as to promote her book and future writings.  I used just a splash of vivid color to convey her personality, and combined that with modern typography and a simple, clean layout to maintain emphasis on her content.
